About The Position

The Senior Designer will play a key role in executing creative and design projects for Westgate Resorts while ensuring consistency with branding guidelines. The ideal candidate will manage specific projects under the direction of the Advertising Project Manager. Attention to detail, creativity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential. The role requires the ability to multitask and thrive under pressure. Responsibilities include standing, sitting, and walking around the property, conducting site inspections with vendors, working with digital display content and troubleshooting, managing collateral pickups and deliveries, and ensuring quality control.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate the ability to successfully perform all essential job functions; reasonable accommodations may be provided in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Required experience with After Effects and Premiere.
  • A digital portfolio showcasing design capabilities is required.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Proven ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively assess and interpret departmental needs.
  • Extensive experience in both digital and print communications.
  • Must be a local candidate; relocation assistance is not available.
  • This is an on-site position; remote work is not offered.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in digital design/ Print design

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the overall vision and marketing design strategy in alignment with Westgate’s business objectives.
  • Design and produce high-quality B2C projects, including but not limited to: emails, landing pages, cross-channel marketing campaigns, digital banners, social media, infographics, logos, websites, and other marketing collateral.
  • Translate marketing briefs and stakeholder objectives into design work that aligns with the brand and meets business goals.
  • Communicate effectively and deliver projects within deadlines.
  • Apply best practices and standards for web, mobile, video, email design, ads, and print.
  • Contribute to the ongoing education of team members on new technologies and SOPs, promoting continuous improvement in output.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate design concepts
  • Collaborate with the Advertising Project Manager to streamline project processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
