About The Position

Millions of buildings in more than 170 countries have been transformed into immersive Matterport digital twins to improve every part of the building lifecycle from planning, construction, and operations to documentation, appraisal, and marketing. We are seeking a talented, passionate Sr. Graphic Designer to build solutions for our marketing communications, hardware packaging, and at times product iconography. This person will partner with our Design, Marketing and Business teams to help drive compelling customer experiences. The ideal candidate has a passion for customers, strong communication skills, and the ability to focus on the big picture while at the same time focusing on crucial details. They are comfortable presenting and articulating design reasoning with stakeholders. This position is located in Arlington, VA and in office Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Bachelor ’s degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.
5+ years professional experience as a communication/graphic designer .
Ability to create work that is engaging .
Ability to convey complicated concepts in a simple, understandable manner .
Strong attention to detail .
Humble, ego-free attitude .
Ability to thrive in a collaborative and feedback-rich environment .
Ability to clearly articulate design decisions .
Must be highly-proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop as well as Figma .
A track record of commitment to prior employers.

Nice To Haves

Experience in illustration and/or iconography; product, UI, or interaction design; video design/production/editing .
Experience in B2B marketing .
Experience working across a wide range of teams.
Experience with digital asset management tools.

Responsibilities

Design for our on and off-line communication needs - including but not limited to:, landing pages, infographics, advertising, presentations, event materials, tradeshow booths, hardware packaging, business cards, signage, iconography, etc.
Manage and evolve the Matterport brand identity and style guide.
Collaborate directly with motion designers, writers, marketers, engineers, and videographers.
Help manage intake process of requests from across all teams.
Work cross functionally to understand project needs.
Autonomously drive projects from beginning to end, incorporating feedback, and meeting milestones along the way.
