The Senior Graphic Designer is a vision-led, trend-aware creative leader responsible for elevating the Step2 brand through aspirational design. This role blends concept development, hands-on design craft, and creative direction - shaping how consumers emotionally connect with the quality, joy, and imagination our products bring into their homes.

  • Concept visual directions that communicate both product features and emotional benefits.
  • Apply strong aesthetic sensibility - color, typography, styling, and trend fluency - to all design work.
  • Lead design across packaging, digital content, retail displays, and brand campaigns.
  • Mentor Designers and Associate Designers; provide thoughtful, craft-focused feedback.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align creative across photo, video, product, and marketing.
  • Create and evolve brand visual systems, toolkits, and design standards.
  • Provide creative oversight for external agencies or freelance partners when needed.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring detail excellence and brand consistency.
  • All other projects, duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field; or equivalent experience with a strong portfolio
  • 8+ years graphic design experience; consumer products or lifestyle brand experience preferred.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; familiarity with Lightroom and Figma a plus.
  • Strong sense of aesthetic, styling, color theory, composition, and contemporary design trends.
  • Experience designing for packaging, print, digital, and retail environments.
  • Strong storytelling skills - ability to translate product benefits into emotional visual narratives.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional craftsmanship and file-prep accuracy.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities; experience partnering with cross-functional teams.
  • A collaborative, proactive, creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated skills through a portfolio is required
