About The Position

The Learning Operations team's Sr. Graphic Designer produces high-quality operations and learning support assets, ensuring that all materials adhere to department standards and meet end-user requirements. The Sr. Graphic Designer works closely with cross-functional teams to develop and source custom imagery, design engaging graphics, and maintain visual consistency across all content. This individual also supports the continuous audit/enhancement of all content to meet the evolving needs for HealthTrust colleague learning and performance.

Requirements

  • College Degree in Graphic Design or related field - Preferred
  • 6 or more years experience in graphic design or related field - Required
  • Experience with industry-standard design tools like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat - Required
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of layout, graphics, and image development skills - Required
  • Experience with cloud documentation tools such as Point, Google Docs, Office 365, etc. - Required
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong understanding of technical documentation, file management standards, and related best practices - Required
  • Strong knowledge of design principles and ability to convey complex organizational and training topics through clear, engaging visuals - Required
  • Understands importance of brand consistency and how to scale brand standards across multiple platforms and assets - Required
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and deliverable quality - Required

Responsibilities

  • Support visual design for all team deliverables including intranet site user experience (UX) and user interface (UI).
  • Design all standard operations deliverables in line with style guide, including but not limited to: Regulatory and policy materials; Department pages, manuals, and initiative pages; Job role pages, orientation support files; Process pages/playbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs); Knowledge articles.
  • Design all learning deliverables in line with style guide, including but not limited to: Facilitator-led learning content--facilitator & participant guides; Self-led learning content--e-learning courses; Knowledge check and other learning activity content.
  • Design all learning operations-specific communications, in line with style guide.
  • Source or create custom imagery (photos, illustrations, etc.) to support all content objectives.
  • Actively participate in recurring and ad hoc project meetings, providing updates on design progress and challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders to manage project responsibilities, timelines, and progress.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with the established visual design style guide to maintain consistency across operations and learning materials.
  • Support annual audits of all operations and learning content to ensure consistency, currency, and functionality.
  • Adhere to standards for internal workflows, file naming conventions, and asset/file management practices.
