The Russian School of Mathematics is an award-winning after school math enrichment program trusted by parents for over two decades. With over 80 locations across the U.S. and abroad, RSM continues to expand its reach, empowering students to think critically and creatively. RSM is growing and hiring a Senior Graphic Designer who will play a key role in shaping RSM's visual identity across print and digital channels. This role combines hands-on design execution with creative direction to ensure brand consistency, clarity, and impact. The ideal candidate is a strong conceptual thinker who can translate ideas into compelling visuals that resonate with parents, students, and educators.

  • Maintain and evolve RSM's visual brand guidelines to ensure a consistent look and feel across all materials.
  • Develop branded templates and toolkits for use by regional and local marketing teams.
  • Create high-quality print and digital assets including brochures, flyers, banners, social media graphics, web assets, presentation decks, and event materials.
  • Work closely with copywriters and marketing managers to produce cohesive and effective visual content.
  • Partner with external vendors and printers to ensure quality and timely production of materials.
  • Provide creative guidance and feedback to junior designers or freelancers as needed.
  • Ensure all creative output meets high standards for clarity, accessibility, and brand consistency.
  • Stay up to date with design trends and best practices in education, digital marketing, and branding.
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming and campaign ideation sessions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional design experience, preferably in education, marketing, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience with Canva, Figma, or similar platforms a plus.
  • Experience designing for both print, signage and digital environments, including window designs, building and monument signs.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a range of creative work across digital and print media.
