About The Position

The Sr. Graphic Designer & Creative Strategist will be responsible for driving the visual direction of our brand while producing high-quality design work. This role is ideal for a creative professional who is as comfortable setting the vision as they are bringing it to life through hands-on execution. They will serve as both strategic thinker and skilled designer. As a key member of the Marketing and Communications team, you will lead the development of creative concepts across multiple channels - digital, social and internal communications.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Proficiency in other design software, i.e. Canva
  • Strong understanding of creative design and marketing principles
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work with a team and foster collaboration
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust project list as needed by the business
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or alike.
  • 7+ years of experience designing digital media and print
  • Proven ability to design and creative complex marketing collateral
  • Must be able to lift 10 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Lead Creative Direction: Drive the overall creative vision and visual identity across all platforms, ensuring consistency, quality and alignment. Sometimes this means leveraging and building upon pre-established concepts or creating entirely new layouts to further the creative acumen of the marketing team.
  • Design Execution: Design and create high-quality marketing collateral/visual assets for digital, print, social media, presentations, campaigns and internal communications that reinforces the Bureau Veritas voice and aligns with business goals and strategy
  • Concept Development: Work with the Digital Marketing role to translate marketing objectives and business goals into clear, creative concepts and visual narratives that engage and inspire target audience.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with business teams to develop effective visual solutions that support campaigns, launches and strategic initiatives.
  • Creative Lead: Provide creative direction and feedback to junior designers and marketing staff.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices: Incorporate new techniques and technologies to enhance the creative process and produce innovative solutions.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.
  • Executive Presentations: Develop visually impacting PowerPoint presentations and other content that align with the executive’s messaging and company branding guidelines, utilizing tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite to enhance overall design quality.
  • Content Simplification: Transform complex and detailed information into clear, concise, and engaging visuals that resonate with diverse audiences.
