About The Position

Senior Government & Capital Property Specialist (Level 5) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Government & Capital Property Management Specialist ( Level 5 ) to join our team located near any of our sites, including: Berkeley, MO / Mesa, AZ / El Segundo, CA / Ridley Park, PA / Tukwila, WA. Are you ready to take on a vital role in managing our company's assets? We are seeking a dedicated Property Management Specialist to ensure compliance with contract provisions and enhance our property management processes. In this role, you will work closely with engineering and shop personnel, fostering collaboration to effectively manage property and support ongoing projects. This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing either government contracts or government programs
  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft office suite
  • Experience using lean principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Current certification issued through NPMA - CPPM/CF preferred
  • Previous experience with GOLD, Property Management system for tool classification, status, location, and accountability, or related system
  • Familiarity with U.S. Government Federal Acquisition Regulations

Responsibilities

  • Monitors company practices and industry trends to ensure that program property management, acquisition, property movement, physical inventory, maintenance, utilization and consumption, disposition and contract closeout processes comply with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitors company practices and industry trends to ensure that established property records comply with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Reviews and analyzes system metrics to identify areas for accuracy and compliance to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Mentors personnel and consults with management on property management tools, processes and procedures.
  • Interacts with contracting organizations, customers and industry on complex issues and provides expertise to manage property information systems across the company.
