Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in direct sourcing and procurement
• Experience in developing/leading and managing supply chain strategy and supply base.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier contracts.
• Ability to travel up to 30%
• Proven ability to scope and create projects to reduce cost, improve productivity, reduce supplier risk, and increase capacity.
• Collaborative approach to communication and problem-solving and a passion for sharing knowledge with colleagues.
• Ability to foster trust and build strong interpersonal connections with leadership teams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience working cross functionally especially with Engineers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of global sourcing strategies for assigned categories to deliver cost savings, innovation, and supplier value.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance standards are met and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Drive negotiations for high-value contracts, focusing on cost optimization, quality, delivery performance, and risk management.
• Think Fast by identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and geopolitical factors.
• Work it Together by collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies with corporate goals.
• Make the Hard Call by driving cost reduction and efficiency improvements through the identification of new suppliers and innovative sourcing strategies.
