The Senior Global Marketing Manager – Life Sciences is responsible for driving global growth by owning end-to-end Life Sciences demand strategy and content development—from building early-funnel awareness and scientific credibility to activating integrated programs that generate qualified demand and accelerate adoption. This position reports to the Director of Global Marketing and will be Remote. As part of the Global Marketing team, this fully remote role develops researcher-focused scientific narratives, compelling proof points, and integrated global marketing programs that increase visibility, establish authority, and drive awareness, demand, and adoption across Leica Biosystems’ end-to-end Life Sciences portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in product marketing, global programs, or demand generation
  • Proven ability to lead global positioning and messaging and execute integrated campaigns across regions and channels
  • Experience partnering with product, sales, digital marketing, regional teams, and external agencies to deliver scalable, performance-driven campaigns
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, including domestic and international travel as needed to support global teams, customer engagements, and key industry events.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings.
  • Ability to travel, including walking through airports, conference venues, laboratories, and trade show environments.
  • Ability to lift and carry light materials (e.g., laptop, marketing materials) as required.
  • Primarily remote work environment with regular use of standard office equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively across time zones in a fast-paced, global organization.

  • Advanced degree or MBA a plus.
  • Experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or other regulated healthcare markets with complex, multi-stakeholder buying journeys
  • Leading global integrated programs within a matrixed, multi-regional organization
  • Ability to translate technical and clinical value into compelling, data-driven messaging and demand-driving campaigns, leading end-to-end development and execution of webinars, scientific posters, case studies, application notes, and compliant claims, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global demand generation strategy and execution—building integrated programs designed to drive marketing qualified lead growth, improve conversion rates, and accelerate funnel velocity.
  • Own program-driven funnel performance, aligning channel mix, targeting strategy, content activation, and nurture pathways to increase demand capture and measurable marketing contribution to revenue.
  • Serve as the operational engine of demand generation, partnering with Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Regions to translate strategy into scalable, high-impact global programs.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing to drive website content development and optimize lead capture, nurture programs, and end-to-end program performance.
  • Continuously analyze and refine program performance, leveraging engagement metrics, funnel insights, and regional feedback to improve cost efficiency, demand quality, and marketing-attributed revenue.

  • The annual salary range for this role is $125,000 - $155,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
