About The Position

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and creative Senior Producer to support the planning and execution of Crunchyroll’s most impactful global events, tentpoles, award shows and other high-profile experiences. Reporting directly to the Global Executive Producer, this role will act as a trusted partner and key support, helping to bring event strategies to life, coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors, collaborate with internal and external teams to manage production schedules and budgets, and ensure smooth execution across multiple concurrent projects. The Senior Producer will serve as a proxy for leadership when needed, keeping projects on track, maintaining consistency across all event touchpoints, and ensuring alignment with creative and operational goals. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for a strong producer who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys both creative collaboration and operational excellence, and can confidently balance strategic oversight with day-to-day production management under tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience producing high-profile, large-scale live events, tentpoles, specials, and award shows with global reach.
  • 3+ years of experience managing complex show flows, run of shows, production schedules, and timelines across multiple stakeholders and vendors.
  • Experience in creative collaboration and operational execution.
  • Experience working with vendors, technical crews, and external partners.
  • Experience communicating with complex teams to bring and maintain structure in fast-moving, live productions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities.
  • Experience with show calling, cueing, and live event flow management.
  • Familiarity with pop culture, fandom, or entertainment production
  • Flexibility to adjust working hours as needed to accommodate global meetings and calls, including collaboration with teams in Tokyo.
  • Willingness to travel and work nontraditional hours during major events.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Events
  • Partner closely with the Global Executive Producer to deliver high-quality, on-brand event experiences across global initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, brand management, creative, communications, and operations to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
  • Vendor & Partner Management
  • Coordinate with external production vendors, AV teams, agencies, and talent management to bring creative and logistical plans to life.
  • On-Site Leadership
  • Serve as a key point of contact during live events, ensuring seamless execution and providing leadership support when the Global Executive Producer is unavailable.
  • Drive Process & Quality
  • Help develop production workflows, documentation, and best practices that improve efficiency and maintain excellence across events.
  • Creative Input
  • Contribute ideas to improve event storytelling, audience engagement, and overall attendee experience.
  • Post-Event Analysis
  • Support reporting, debriefs, and documentation to ensure learnings and insights are carried forward.
