About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior GFEBS Functional Analyst / Trainer to support Army financial operations under a federal contract. This position requires deep expertise across all core GFEBS modules, along with the ability to train end users, develop training materials, and support financial business processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional knowledge, hands-on transaction experience, and the ability to communicate complex processes clearly to users at all levels. Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel to support multiple locations throughout the Continental United States (CONUS).

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of recent experience (within last 10 years) supporting GFEBS
  • Demonstrated experience across all seven GFEBS core functional areas: Financial (FI), Spending Chain (SC); Fund Management (FM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Accounts Receivable (AR), Reimbursable Accounting (RA), and Controlling (CO)
  • Hands-on experience with: Spending Chain processes (PR, PO, GR/IR, clearing) Reimbursable accounting workflows Funds Management (AFP, allotments, cost distributions)
  • Proven ability to: Train users across multiple delivery methods Develop job aids and training materials
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Must pass pre-hiring qualification review by the Government (COR approval required)
  • All Contractor personnel performing work under this contract must complete a favorable background investigation and be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC).

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-spectrum support across all seven GFEBS core functionalities (FI, SC, FM, SD, AR, RA, CO), including processing and troubleshooting transactions such as PRs, POs, GR/IR, financial postings, and document clearing.
  • Support reimbursable processes (sales orders, billing, funding, down payments) and execute Funds Management activities including pre-commitments, commitments, AFPs, allotments, and cost object allocations.
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive GFEBS training program using multiple methods (in-person, phone, VTC, and web-based), while creating and maintaining job aids, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Track and document all training activities, certifications, and records for Government review, ensuring compliance with mandated training requirements.
  • Ensure all work aligns with contract standards, maintain audit readiness, and support continuous improvement efforts to enhance training efficiency and reduce cost and time impacts.
