About The Position

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a Senior Geotechnical Professional Engineer position in our Buffalo, NY office. Job Duties Perform geotechnical field investigations. This may include boring layouts, drilling inspections, and running geophysical surveys. Coordinate and assist with managing the scope of services provided by subcontract drilling firms. Perform visual classification and laboratory testing of soil samples. Perform geotechnical field inspections during the construction phase, as needed. Preparing and reviewing geotechnical engineering reports. Preparing geotechnical proposals and attending client meetings. Participate in meetings with design team, stakeholders, and clients. Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

Requirements

B.S. degree in civil engineering or related field.
10 to 20+ years of progressive experience in the geotechnical engineering field.
PE license
Effective verbal/written communication and ability to sell our services.
Driver’s License Required
Possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects.
