We are looking for talented individuals who are excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of EDS and delivering industry-leading solutions to the world’s top automotive manufacturers.” Role Summary Join Aptiv’s EDS (Electrical Distribution Systems) Segment as a Senior FX / Commodities Analyst, where you will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating foreign exchange and commodity risks across our global operations. This role supports strategic decision-making through proactive risk analysis and the execution of effective hedging strategies.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of relevant experience in FX or commodity risk management within a corporate treasury, financial institution, or trading environment.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, hedging instruments, and enterprise risk management practices.
  • Advanced financial modeling and data analysis skills; proficiency in Bloomberg, Reuters, SAP TRM, Kyriba, Reval, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex exposure datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Knowledge of hedge accounting, hedge documentation, and regulatory/reporting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis and reporting of FX and commodity exposures to support enterprise-wide hedging strategies.
  • Track market conditions, economic indicators, and geopolitical developments that influence exposure levels and financial outcomes.
  • Support the execution and optimization of hedging programs using derivatives (forwards, swaps, options) in alignment with corporate policies and relevant accounting standards (ASC 815 / IFRS 9).
  • Collaborate with Treasury, Procurement, Finance, and business units to ensure accurate exposure data, effective forecasting, and robust risk management practices.
  • Deliver executive-level reporting, dashboards, and scenario planning to support financial planning and risk-informed decisions.
