About The Position
Job Description Job Requirements Core Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering , or a related field 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry (OEM or Tier 1 preferred) within the EE domain 3+ years of experience developing safety-related systems compliant with: ISO 26262 IEC 61508 or equivalent functional safety standards Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of integrity Technical Expertise Proven experience performing FMEDA , including FIT rate calculation and mission profile interpretation Strong understanding of: ASIL classification and safety metrics Automotive electrical/electronic systems and control strategies Hands-on experience with safety analysis tools such as: Ansys Medini Isograph Functional Safety & Analysis Skills Expertise in: Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) Dependent Failure Analysis (DFA) Probabilistic Metric for Hardware Failure (PMHF) Ability to evaluate and validate safety mechanisms within complex systems Experience working with suppliers on reliability and safety data Additional Strengths Strong understanding of vehicle system functionality Ability to translate safety requirements into actionable engineering tasks Experience developing and executing safety validation test plans Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Requirements
