About The Position
Yoodli is a private AI roleplay and communication coach, dedicated to helping people communicate with confidence without judgment. The company has secured over $7M in seed funding from investors like Madrona, AI2, and Cercano, and has established partnerships with Google, Sandler, and Toastmasters International to deliver personalized coaching to a wide user base. Yoodli is a fast-growing, mission-driven team located at the AI House in Seattle, comprising alumni from GoogleX, Apple, Intuit, and other prominent companies. The ideal candidate for this Senior Fullstack Engineer role will be mission-aligned, possessing strong frontend-focused full-stack expertise with solid backend instincts in APIs and distributed systems. They should demonstrate customer-centric thinking, translating product requirements into clean, reliable technical solutions, and uphold a high standard for code quality and API design. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days a week in the office, and candidates must be based in the Greater Seattle Area.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional development experience, shipping production code
- Strong full-stack capabilities with a frontend lean - you've owned features end-to-end and have a track record of delivering in fast-moving environments
- Solid experience with API design, system architecture, and writing code you are proud to maintain
- Proficiency in modern technologies (TypeScript, React, backend frameworks) with the ability to debug complex distributed systems
- Clear communicator who works well across engineering and product, and who gives and receives feedback well
- Understand how your work connects to business outcomes and user impact
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Based in the Greater Seattle Area
