Senior Full Stack .NET Developer
About The Position
Liberty Software builds innovative pharmacy management solutions that help retail pharmacies improve patient safety, customer service, and profitability. We’re growing and looking for a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer who can lead by example, mentor junior developers, and help us build secure, scalable applications for the healthcare industry. As a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing and implementing enterprise-grade desktop and web applications using VB.NET and WinForms for our core systems, along with ASP.NET Core and C# for web services and newer components. You’ll guide architecture decisions, champion best practices, and ensure our applications meet the highest standards of security and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR). Please note: This role is based in our Grapevine, TX office Liberty Software does not offer employment sponsorship opportunities for this role (e.g, H-1B, OPT, or other work visa status).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development with VB.NET and WinForms, plus ASP.NET Core and C# experience
- Proficiency in SQL Server and database optimization
- Solid understanding of secure coding principles, encryption, and authentication mechanisms
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Blazor is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead development of secure, scalable desktop and web applications using VB.NET, WinForms, and ASP.NET Core/C#
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and InfoSec teams to deliver innovative, compliant solutions
- Implement DevSecOps practices, including SAST/SCA tools and secure coding standards
- Contribute to architecture, code reviews, testing, and documentation
- Stay current with emerging technologies and security best practices
