About The Position

The Full Stack .NET Development Engineer at CVS Health will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Design, and Development. This role involves contributing to the future state technical strategy and mentoring junior developers. The engineer will play a crucial role in customer interfacing for successful project delivery, ensuring high-quality code, leading testing validation, and supporting implementation, transition, and warranty activities. Responsibilities also include techno-functional impact analysis, design, and code construction for software releases within Meritain business systems. The position requires partnering and collaborating with development managers, product management/owners, architects, quality assurance/testing, developers, and project managers to deliver business change and innovation in .NET based business applications. The engineer will be involved throughout the entire development life cycle, focusing on delivering efficient solutions and mitigating risks before production deployment. Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional IT experience
  • 5+ years of .NET experience, including ASP.NET, MVC and C#
  • 5+ years software development and requirement analysis, design experience
  • 5+ years of development experience for projects delivered via Agile or SAFe methodologies
  • 5+ years of .NET Core including Web API, WCF, Entity Framework
  • 2+ years of experience with Visual Studio, .NET, and PL/SQL development is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Micro services architecture
  • A track record of writing clean, high quality, high performing, scalable code
  • Strong knowledge on Azure cloud
  • Understanding of web security basics
  • Microsoft certifications

  • Interface with key stakeholders

  • Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty
  • Perform techno-functional impact analysis, design and code construction activities associated with development of software releases for the Meritain business systems
  • Partner and collaborate with the development manager, product mgmt./owners, architects, quality assurance/testing, developers, and project managers to deliver Business change and innovation into our .NET based business applications software
  • Deliver an efficient solution
  • Identify and properly mitigate any risks to the product before deployment to production
