About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer / Integration SME to support a federal IRS modernization program. The role involves developing and supporting enterprise integration platforms, microservices, and cloud-native applications used in mission-critical tax processing systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, messaging systems, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, along with experience building scalable enterprise solutions.

Requirements

• Java, Spring Boot
• ReactJS
• REST APIs / Microservices
• Kafka, IBM MQ, or ActiveMQ
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Git / CI/CD pipelines
• 8+ years of software development experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain federal background clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or DB2
• Experience with webMethods or other ESB platforms
• Experience with AWS or cloud environments
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and API security (OAuth2/OpenID)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs
• Build frontend components using React
• Integrate applications using Kafka, IBM MQ, or ActiveMQ
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Ensure secure coding practices and system reliability
