About the position
The Senior Full Stack Engineer role at Gradient AI involves working on cutting-edge technology in a collaborative environment. The position focuses on integrating Machine Learning models into client-facing applications, requiring strong analytical skills and proficiency in Python. The ideal candidate will contribute to building new applications and SaaS products while collaborating with various teams to enhance data-driven insights for the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product team to build new applications and SaaS products.
- Participate in high-level design decisions and execute on them.
- Work closely with data science and data engineering teams to build robust data pipelines and workflows.
- Interface with the project team to build integrations with clients.
- Leverage data infrastructure to deliver high impact, user-friendly, client-facing business intelligence and analytics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Python, particularly in developing web applications using frameworks like Django or Flask.
- Deep knowledge of React, including component-based architecture, state management (e.g. Redux), and front-end testing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases including schema design and optimization for performance.
- Experience designing and building scalable distributed systems is a big plus.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Terraform is a plus.
- Exposure working with Data Science teams and Pandas/Polars is nice to have.
- Experience working in Insurtech or on AI/ML products is a bonus.
Nice-to-haves
