About The Position

Senior Software Engineer Job Description The Role Fidelity Center for Family Engagement is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of a small engineering team, this role will be hands-on building the best-in-class user experiments and experiences using technology, architecture, and dev-ops infrastructure of modern, customer-facing end-to-end systems. The Team Fidelity's Center for Family Engagement team conceptualizes, designs, develops, launches, and supports innovative suite of digital products and services while leveraging modern technologies. Our goal is to create user experiences that delight our customers, anticipate their needs, and match services and solutions to their goals. Your contribution will be key to introducing new enterprise-wide products and services that will bring alive the modern digital experiences to our cross-enterprise customers. Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience developing dynamic web applications supported by RESTful web services
• Advanced software development in AWS hosted services
• AWS certifications e.g., Certified Developer and Solutions Architect preferred
• Docker container development experience
• Experience with Client-side development – Angular, NodeJS, NgRx, CSS, HTML
• Strong experience with web services (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.) and Spring Framework
• Proven experience integrating with APIs with a strong understanding of RESTful web services
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory; deploying applications in a DevOps environment
• Experience working with databases, efficient use of SQL
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools; DataDog, Splunk, etc. for observability, analysis, and alerting
• Familiarity with enabling analytics for tracking and measuring metrics around user interactions
• In-depth knowledge of secure coding standards and practices
• Comfortable with Code Quality/Coverage Tools (Sonar or equivalent)
• Test/Automation (Jest, Cucumber, Mockito, Selenium or any other mocking framework)
• You are comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools
• A good understanding of fundamental design principles for building a modular, scalable, and resilient platform
• You build positive relationships with other team members and have excellent verbal and written communication

Nice To Haves

• Bonus points for experience with Storybook JS, Ionic, Spring MVC/Spring Core/Web Services, API management software such as Apigee and knowledge of micro-frontends architecture
