About The Position

Job Description The Team In the Fidelity Brokerage Technology group, the team is responsible for providing electronic trading solutions for Fidelity’s Capital Markets division. This is a hands-on role as an individual contributor and responsibilities include technical leadership, insight, and mentoring to peers. The Expertise You Have BS degree in Computer Science or related software engineer field. 3-6 years of technology experience in the development and implementation of software solutions in highly scalable environments with focus on financial technologies particularly electronic trading. Experience in overall end-to-end Software Engineering in an agile environment Ability to work in a fast paced, highly matrix environment to achieve group goals Desire and aptitude for learning new technologies Ability to communicate problems and recommend solutions to project leaders The Skills You Bring Proven hands-on development skills with technology leadership Demonstrated Understanding and proven track record for cloud-based solutions, continuous integration/deployment and cloud architecture. Willingness to partner optimally with your technology business partners Excellent verbal and written communication skills The Value you Deliver Participate in problem solving, troubleshooting, performance tuning, production support, and maintenance of existing applications. Working across cloud infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs. Implementing with AWS services technologies and practices, building applications using services such as AWS EC2, ECS, Lambda, EMR, Cloud Formation. Coordinating with the team on engineering and continuous integration & delivery CI/CD practices. Executing with web, event driven, caching, batch architectures, designing systems for high throughput, low latency, high availability, and fault tolerance. Certifications: Category: Information Technology Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles. Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or related software engineer field.
