About The Position

Your Role The Application Services team plays a critical role in enhancing customer satisfaction and technical collaboration while delivering all application development through a Platform and Technology Product Operating Model. The Full Stack Engineer role will report to the Director, IT Applications (Integration and Interoperability Platform). In this role, you will be deeply involved in the engineering, administration, and enablement of Informatica’s Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), with a focus on providing a reliable, secure, and scalable platform for enterprise data integration and application integration workloads. Your role will focus on integrating security and automation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with an emphasis on writing clean, maintainable code and building infrastructure that supports CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud-native delivery. You'll implement and enforce DevSecOps best practices tailored for Azure, contribute to infrastructure as code, and work closely with developers, testers, and cloud engineers to ensure code is secure, scalable, and production-ready from day one. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience), with 5+ years of experience in full stack engineering, platform engineering, or cloud integration.
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) or Informatica Cloud platforms, including runtime administration and integration development.
  • Strong understanding of IDMC Secure Agent architecture, runtime execution models, and environment management.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills using Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and platform tooling.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket Pipelines) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep).
  • Solid understanding of data integration and application integration patterns, REST APIs, JSON/XML, and distributed systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, including networking, compute, security, and monitoring services.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud‑hosted runtime platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization concepts and cloud‑native runtime environments.
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps delivery models.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong focus on operational reliability and developer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, administer, and troubleshoot Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform capabilities and automation solutions.
  • Engineer and operate IDMC Secure Agent runtimes deployed in Microsoft Azure, including agent group design, scaling, availability, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure existing Informatica workflows run reliably across development, test, and production environments.
  • Provide platform engineering for IDMC by defining standardized runtime patterns, environment configurations, and automation to improve reliability and developer productivity.
  • Develop reusable templates, automation scripts, and configuration standards to accelerate Informatica development and promote consistency across teams.
  • Enable Informatica developers through tooling, documentation, and best practices for building, deploying, and operating IDMC assets efficiently.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for Informatica assets, including version control, automated validation, and promotion across environments.
  • Integrate IDMC runtimes with Azure native services (e.g., Azure Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault).
  • Monitor and manage performance, capacity, configuration changes, and incident response for IDMC runtimes using Azure native and enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Drive operational excellence through automation, proactive monitoring, and root cause analysis of IDMC job failures and platform incidents.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to platform engineering processes to enhance agility, scalability, and developer experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration needs, user behavior, and opportunities for automation and developer enablement.
