About The Position

The Cards Experience Team is hiring a senior full stack engineer to elevate how members perceive and utilize cards. You’ll contribute to projects around member awareness pertaining to cards, expanding benefits with their cards, and key functionality for new product offerings. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape our existing and new products by collaborating with various product, design, and engineering partners. While this position is primarily backend focused, we value engineers that are curious about mobile areas and are looking to continue or grow their growth as a well rounded engineer. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $164,00 and up to $227,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. In this role, you can expect to Design, develop, test, refactor and scale backend implementations of new and existing consumer product features Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand member struggles and come up with creative solutions Proactively find opportunities for improving the reliability and scalability of our systems Work across the engineering team to improve and uphold high technical standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Comfort working across the stack and an eagerness to learn new technologiesExperience designing APIs and working with transactional databases and caching systemsA product mindset with a strong bias toward experimentation, iteration, and measuring impactExposure to large-scale architecture patterns and an appreciation for clean, maintainable codeA collaborative spirit and strong communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, product-focused environment (Fintech experience is a plus)
