Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI App Builder)
About The Position
Our client is building an AI App Builder — a platform that allows anyone to create functional applications through natural interaction with AI. Users describe their ideas — and the system builds the app. Their small, high-impact team is shaping the foundation of the product: architecture, interface, and AI integration layer. They’re looking for an experienced engineer with strong leadership skills, technical vision, and hands-on experience in AI-related projects, someone who can see the full picture — from code to product — and drive the team toward clean, scalable solutions Preference for Russian-speaking engineers with experience in Western AI products
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or Tech Lead
- Expertise in React / Next.js / Vue, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Strong understanding of API architecture, databases, and modern development tooling
- Experience working with serverless / edge environments (Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda, etc.)
- Practical exposure to AI-driven products (builders, agents, generative apps, etc.) — even up to one year is valuable
- Demonstrated leadership, ownership, and product vision — not just executing tasks but shaping direction
- Experience building fast-moving products from scratch in startup environments
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, etc.)
- Experience with Supabase, Docker, AWS, Vercel, or Cloudflare AI
- Background in real-time collaboration, Web IDEs, or AI agent architectures
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of core platform features — from concept to production
- Define technical architecture for both frontend and backend systems, ensuring scalability and stability
- Collaborate with AI engineers and product designers to turn ideas into reliable, user-ready functionality
- Take ownership of engineering quality, process efficiency, and release cadence
- Mentor and guide other developers; participate in technical decision-making and planning
- Continuously improve system performance, UX, and developer workflows
