About The Position

The Senior Full Stack Engineer at FMR LLC d/b/a Fidelity Investments is responsible for designing and developing web applications using a variety of technologies including Java, Spring, Angular, and Node JS. This role involves building server-side components, supporting performance tuning, and utilizing cloud technologies for deployment. The engineer will also be involved in creating automation pipelines and ensuring the successful implementation of applications across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java, Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Angular, and Node JS.
• Experience with REST APIs and back-end SQL/Stored Procedure Components.
• Familiarity with performance tuning using tools like Datadog and Splunk.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket/Stash, Jenkins, and uDeploy.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of security best practices in web development.

Responsibilities

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.
