About The Position

As a key member of the team, the Senior Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle of assigned software components, from requirements gathering and development to testing and deployment, all within a SAFe Agile framework. The Senior Full Stack Developer will play a critical role in building and maintaining applications that support our core mission, with a focus on seamless integration and high performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, JEE and related technologies, including Spring/Spring Boot and Angular frameworks.
• Experience with API microservices development.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Apache Maven, and JBoss.
• Experience with enterprise application platforms and cloud-native application hosting.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and implementation.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery, and DataTables.
• Experience with Hibernate ORM.
• Experience with Atlassian Application Lifecycle Management tools (JIRA/Confluence).
• Experience with both frontend and backend development technologies.
• Availability during core business hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting US federal government contracts.
• Experience with developer AI tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal.io, Camunda.
• Experience with integrating USWDS compliant components with Angular storybook.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications, including dashboards, process automation tools, and interface applications, using Java J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain API microservices that are scalable, resilient, and secure.
• Develop and test interface applications for secure data transfer with other government entities, ensuring reliable machine-to-machine communication and data integrity.
• Deploy and integrate applications within our infrastructure, ensuring seamless orchestration with other internal and external systems.
• Propose, test, implement, operate, maintain, and improve ticketing and incident tracking systems to ensure efficient issue resolution.
• Create, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems, including design specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate effectively with other developers, testers, and stakeholders within a SAFe Agile environment.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and security.

Benefits

• Salary range of $135,000.00 to $150,000.00 USD.
