About The Position

We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer / Tech Lead to serve as the technical anchor. You'll partner with engineering leadership to establish team standards, mentor teammates, and contribute hands-on code. This role requires someone who can balance leadership with execution, helping drive a team toward high-quality, production-ready software. Our stack includes Laravel 12, Vue.js, MySQL, Redis, and TailwindCSS.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel/PHP
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Vue.js
• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring developers
• Highly proficient in modern PHP 8.x, unit testing, and RESTful API design
• Strong understanding of MySQL - schema design, optimization, and migrations
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Experience with AWS services (RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, ElastiCache, CloudFront)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or CDK)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (CodeBuild, CodePipeline) and deployment automation
• Strong awareness of security best practices, data consistency, and atomic transaction logic
• Ability to own a project end-to-end: R&D, architecture, documentation, and execution
• Excellent communication skills. Able to collaborate effectively with leadership and team members
• A product-focused mindset that connects business value to technical solutions

Nice To Haves

• TypeScript proficiency
• Experience or familiarity with Swift and SwiftUI
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog)
• Background working on high-scale SaaS platforms or mission-critical systems

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering leadership to establish and enforce coding standards and architectural patterns
• Contribute to technical planning, sprint grooming, and architecture decisions
• Own the code review process and ensure team adherence to established standards
• Help assess technical feasibility for new features and initiatives
• Onboard and mentor new team members
• Identify opportunities to reduce tech debt and improve developer experience
• Serve as escalation point for complex technical problems
• Develop, test, and maintain full-stack functionality using PHP 8.4 and Laravel 12.x
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for internal and external applications
• Use wireframes and mockups to create responsive UIs using Vue.js 2.x+, and TailwindCSS
• Design and optimize database schemas in MySQL; work with DynamoDB for appropriate workloads
• Manage AWS infrastructure including RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and related services
• Define and maintain Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or AWS CDK
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CodeBuild and CodePipeline
