About The Position

Fixed Income Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Fixed Income User Experience - Center of Excellence Team. This role involves designing and implementing high-quality user interfaces and ensuring best practices in UI development. The developer will contribute to building and propagating common components for reuse across the Fixed Income App universe, aiming to create streamlined user experiences that support and improve the investment process. These tools are crucial for the investment team in managing risk, enhancing returns, and operating the business. The User Experience - Center of Excellence (UX COE) team collaborates with product managers and investment professionals to develop standardized user experience solutions, allowing developers to focus on business functionality rather than aesthetics. The objective is to establish a common UI for business users and developers, which also helps reduce Technology Lifecycle Management. Asset Management Technology (AMT) provides global technology and support for Investment Management, Research, Trading, and Investment Operations, acting as a key partner to deliver innovative, scalable, industry-leading investment tools for competitive advantage.

Requirements

BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree and over five years of professional experience
Experience developing applications using Angular as primary frontend framework for UI
Experience working with product managers, UX/UI designers, and back-end developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Exposure to AWS/Azure cloud environment and proven understanding of CI/CD and DevOps
Solid grasp of how to use rapid development approaches bringing to bear enterprise capabilities to deliver robust business solutions
Extremely versatile and comfortable working alongside investment professionals as well as developing creative technical solutions
Experience decomposing sophisticated business problems into creative, efficient, and scalable solutions
Excellent active listening, verbal and written communication skills and brings excitement that builds collaboration and community
Ability to respond to a variety of requests and being able to prioritize them effectively
Negotiate a balance between absolute best and efficient and practical to good effect
Ability to learn new technology, business workflows, concepts, processes and contribute to the investment process
Trusted technical partner that collaborates closely with end users to understand and respond to business needs
Bring curiosity and a questioning mind-set to work, asking always about the why and the value of an activity or task
