About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a highly motivated, forward thinking Senior Fulfillment Manager (Level L) to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina . You will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and 787 program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety. This is a first shift position but the selected candidate must be willing to spend time in second and third shifts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with one or more of the following within the Manufacturing Operations function (Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Operations, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality or IT)
  • 5+ years of experience with team building, developing and motivating employees
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing cross-functional teams
  • Willingness and ability to support all shifts as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher)
  • 5+ years of experience using lean principles
  • 5+ years of experience in Inventory Management / Inventory Management Methodologies
  • 5+ years of experience with Boeing Problem Solving Methodologies (or similar industry best practices)
  • 5+ years of experience with Boeing (or similar industry) systems leveraged by Supply Chain Fulfillment organizations (ARES, ERPLN, KITs)

Responsibilities

  • Manages and integrates employee and first-level manager activities across more than one area in Fulfillment and Supply Chain
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational strategies, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical and operational management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports through Seek, Speak, and Listen
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes to drive First Pass Quality/Safety of Product and People
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers for individual and team development
  • Assists with driving Boeing's Production System (BPS) transformation
  • Exhibits Boeing Behaviors and Values
  • Possesses & influences a mindset of People First, Safety, Quality & Excellence

  • Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
  • Summary pay range: $133,450 - $180,550
  • Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
