About The Position

We are looking for a generalist senior frontend engineer to join our early team in New York City. This role will work closely with our product and design team as well as the rest of our engineering team to build the user-facing aspects of the Starbridge platform. You'll figure out ways to build highly performant, stable frontends that allow us to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and create structures that allow us to build and iterate quickly and be responsive to customer feedback.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience working on modern web ecosystems.
• 5+ years of experience with React, Typescript, Javascript, RESTful API, CSS, and other front-end technologies.
• Proactive team player who communicates effectively.
• Comfortable in a work environment that blends synchronous and asynchronous communication.
• Understanding of how code affects performance and how to measure and optimize it.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a technical lead making architectural design decisions.
• Experience with Github CI/CD.
