About The Position

Kalder is hiring a Senior Front-End Engineer to architect, design, and influence key engineering decisions for our rewards platform. You’ll own the front-end roadmap, define guardrails and best practices, and turn complex financial workflows into fast, elegant, and accessible experiences across web and mobile.

Requirements

• 6+ years of frontend development experience
• Proven expertise with React + Next.js (mobile + web)
• Strong foundation in component architecture and UI systems
• Experience working on complex, data-heavy, high-performance apps
• Startup-ready: you thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Nice To Haves

• Experience in fintech or rewards/loyalty products
• Contributions to open-source libraries or developer tooling
• A degree in Computer Science—or the equivalent hard-earned knowledge

Responsibilities

• Define component libraries, set performance budgets, enforce testing standards.
• Collaborate with product + backend to design and launch features.
• Guide teammates, write docs and diagrams, and make architectural tradeoffs explicit.
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and consistency across the product.
