About The Position

As a Senior Front End Engineer at Red 6, you will take a critical role in developing next generation AR pilot training and operation. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing web-based applications that integrate with cutting-edge augmented reality technology. Additionally, you will be expected to address software issues promptly, work independently, and manage tasks in an Agile environment. Effective communication skills are essential, as you will participate in standup meetings, sprint planning/retrospectives, and sprint reviews.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Web Developer; a Master's degree may count towards 2 years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript and a single page application framework, preferably React.
• Ability to quickly identify and resolve defects in web applications.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with version control systems.
• Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• This position may require security clearance; employees must show proof of US Citizenship.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of WebSocket implementation and functionality.
• Experience developing for mobile browser environments.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and node.js.
• Experience with Recoil or Redux.
• Experience developing and operating in a Linux operating system.
• C++ experience.
• Experience building applications for a military environment.
• Experience in augmented reality or virtual reality.
