About The Position

We're seeking a detail-oriented Senior Frontend Engineer to build world-class annotation tools using React and TypeScript. You'll create responsive, high-quality web interfaces that enable global annotators to work efficiently, while integrating AI capabilities to enhance productivity. This role is ideal for someone who values frontend craftsmanship, collaborates effectively with stakeholders, and delivers exceptional customer-facing applications.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (5+ years) building and scaling production web applications in React and TypeScript, including component architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with modern frontend build tools and styling frameworks (e.g., Vite, Webpack, Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules) and strong grasp of modern JavaScript/CSS practices.
• Ability to translate design specifications into pixel-accurate UI implementations and make thoughtful, user-centered UI/UX decisions.
• Proven experience working directly with product managers, designers, or end-users to gather requirements and iteratively deliver production-ready customer-facing applications.

Nice To Haves

• Experience building annotation, labeling, or complex data visualization tools, or other workflow-driven web applications.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into web applications through APIs and SDKs.
• Performance optimization expertise in data-heavy, real-time, or media-rich web applications.
• Experience developing or contributing to design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Proficiency using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., claude code, vs code extensions, cursor, windsurf etc) to accelerate coding tasks.

• Design and develop sophisticated React-based annotation tools that combine polished user experiences with intelligent AI integration.
• Collaborate directly with product managers, designers, and end-users to understand workflows and translate requirements into elegant applications.
• Continuously improve tools that support annotators worldwide.
• Implement pixel-accurate designs and make user-centered UI/UX decisions when designs are incomplete.
• Build scalable, maintainable codebases and play a key role in shaping the next generation of human-AI collaboration.
