About The Position

Radwell International is the parent company of several individual branded entities, currently organized into four business units: Radwell, Radwell International, Group CBS, and Electrical Source. These business units operate within the electrical and automation parts distribution industry-specializing in new, surplus, obsolete, and refurbished components-as well as the service and repair of factory automation equipment, electrical controls, and circuitry. Each unit maintains its own P&L accountability and pursues distinct yet strategically aligned growth initiatives. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our eCommerce Software Engineering team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, performant, and responsive user interfaces within the Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) platform. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in modern frontend technologies, deep knowledge of Magento theming and layout architecture, and a passion for creating intuitive, conversion-focused digital experiences. You'll work closely with backend developers, designers, and business stakeholders to continuously enhance the customer journey across our eCommerce platform.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with at least 3 years focused on Adobe Commerce (Magento 2).
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with Magento 2 theming, layout XML, UI components, and Knockout.js.
  • Experience with modern build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp, Grunt) and version control (Git).
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Ability to optimize frontend performance for speed, accessibility, and SEO.
  • Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs and working with REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

Nice To Haves

  • Adobe Commerce certifications (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Commerce Front-End Developer) are a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud or other cloud-based hosting environments is a plus.
  • Experience with the B2B capabilities of Adobe Commerce Cloud is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and visually engaging frontend experiences for Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) websites.
  • Customize Magento themes (Hyva) and templates using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Knockout.js.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate mockups and prototypes into pixel-perfect, functional interfaces.
  • Optimize frontend performance to improve site speed, SEO, and user experience.
  • Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility.
  • Implement and maintain custom widgets, components, and CMS blocks within Magento.
  • Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend development standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues in both staging and production environments.
  • Stay current with frontend trends, Magento updates, and emerging eCommerce technologies.
