The position involves building front-end interfaces for websites and web applications. The candidate will lead efforts to generate markup that maintains consistent presentation across supported browsers, operating systems, and devices. Responsibilities include acquiring and interpreting business requirements, creating functional specifications, and determining the most efficient technologies. The role also involves researching and improving current front-end standards, implementing new interface development techniques, and submitting technical and process improvement recommendations as part of the technical leadership team. The candidate will perform analysis of business models and customer requirements to design and build Internet solutions using multiple technologies. Additionally, the role requires leading the creation of Information Architecture diagrams, mitigating risks associated with complex projects, maintaining and modifying web applications, and providing support for critical web application issues. The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert, train other developers, conduct research into new technologies, and present findings to management and clients. The role includes scheduling and leading project meetings and providing tier 2, on-call support for critical web application problems. The position is hybrid, requiring reasonable commuting distance to the Cleveland, OH office.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Senior Front-End Web Developer or related role.
  • Five (5) years of IT experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience working with JavaScript.
  • Three (3) years working with content management solutions, preferably IBM WebSphere Commerce.
  • Experience with CSS3 and HTML5.
  • Experience with web development and debugging tools (Firebug or Chrome Developer).
  • Experience generating templates for content-based tools (blog, wiki, or WCM).
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design patterns.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop.
  • Experience with Source Code Control, preferably Git.
  • Experience with AngularJS and AJAX to interact with RESTful services.
  • Experience working as part of an enterprise web team.
