About The Position

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Developer to support a major modernization initiative involving five legacy applications that support municipal election operations. This is a part-time, 6-month contract role with the potential for extension. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with an experienced Front-End Developer and a UI/UX Designer to deliver a modern, intuitive, responsive, and high-performing web application.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Solid experience with HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with state management libraries such as Zustand or Context API
• Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the Mantine component library
• Familiarity with election-related systems or government applications (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Collaborate with design and development teams to translate UI/UX wireframes into functional components
• Implement and manage application state using Zustand or React Context API
• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and manage data flow efficiently
• Ensure code quality through Git version control and adherence to best practices
• Contribute to performance optimization, testing, and overall application stability
