About The Position

Join our team to modernize legacy systems and build innovative web components using modern JavaScript frameworks. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to rewrite existing ColdFusion applications in Node.js and enhance the front-end experience through scalable, accessible, and maintainable code.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's may substitute for experience)
• 10+ years of front-end development with JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and Node.js
• Experience with React, Angular, Bootstrap, and ColdFusion 2021
• Familiarity with web component APIs (Custom Elements, Shadow DOM)
• Strong understanding of Git, accessibility, and performance optimization

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Stencil.js, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with Linux environments and modern front-end build tools

Responsibilities

• Rewrite ColdFusion applications in Node.js within a Modern Development Environment (MDE)
• Build and maintain UI components using JavaScript (ES6+), CSS/SASS, and Stencil.js
• Participate in design, development, and technical discussions
• Write unit tests and support CI/CD pipelines
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers
• Optimize web performance and ensure accessibility standards
• Collaborate with Agile teams and contribute to daily stand-ups
