About The Position

The Senior Risk Data Scientist at BILL will focus on fraud risk within the Risk Data Innovation team. This role involves leading data science projects that enhance predictive fraud detection, transaction risk modeling, and fraud loss mitigation for payment products. The position requires a strong background in machine learning and data analysis, with an emphasis on collaboration across various departments to drive impactful solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the fraud industry, specifically in data science and machine learning.
• Advanced degree (M.S., PhD.) with 4+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling using Python, SQL, or similar tools.
• Mastery of various machine learning techniques including clustering, classification, regression, and anomaly detection.
• Ability to communicate complex results clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience in solving risk-related problems using data science and analytics.
