About The Position

The Senior FP&A Partner at QVC is responsible for executing financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting while collaborating with various teams to provide insights and recommendations. This hybrid role requires a strong understanding of the business to support the monthly forecasting cycle and prepare reporting packages for organizational use.

Requirements

• Ability to work with different reporting systems and understand data warehousing.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in preparing annual budgets and recurring forecasts in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Accounting and GAAP, with an understanding of financial statements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with skills in creating efficient models for analysis and forecasting.
• Ability to compile and analyze data from various sources and translate it into actionable insights.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Anaplan, SAP, Business Objects, and MicroStrategy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Business, Finance Partners, Accounting, and Data Insights team to analyze information and understand requirements.
• Initiate and drive budgeting and forecasting activities, including modeling and inputting figures into the Forecasting/Consolidation system (Anaplan).
• Prepare reconciliations and deliverables related to budgeting and forecasting.
• Identify and solve data challenges using logical reasoning to uncover insights.
• Convey data analysis results to inform senior executives and assist in decision-making.
• Proactively seek clarification of requirements and direction.
