About The Position

The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in supporting corporate and program level planning, budgeting, and forecasting. This individual will partner closely with R&D, Program Management, Clinical, Tech Ops, and G&A teams to deliver high quality financial insights, support decision making, and ensure disciplined financial management in a dynamic, science-driven environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high growth biotech, can balance strategic thinking with hands on execution, and is excited to build scalable FP&A processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of progressive FP&A or Finance experience, ideally within biotech or pharma
  • Experience supporting R&D, clinical development, or other multiprogram environments
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, planning tools, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive Insights a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate complex concepts clearly
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive problem solver who anticipates needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business judgment
  • Collaborative team player

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with biotech planning cycles (e.g., program budgeting, CRO/CMO forecasting) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual operating plan, long-range planning (LRP), and quarterly forecasting cycles across all functions
  • Build driver based financial models to support forecasting accuracy and scenario analysis
  • Support implementation and optimization of ERP and planning tools to build scalable FP&A reporting infrastructure, including dashboards, forecast templates, and process improvements
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for leadership, highlighting key variances, trends, and actionable insights
  • Partner with Program Management and functional leads to manage cross-functional program budgets and timelines
  • Support accruals related to external CRO/CMO partners, milestone based spend, and clinical site activity
  • Partner with Accounting on monthly close, accruals, cost center reporting, and flux analysis
  • Support headcount planning, hiring forecasts, and workforce modeling in partnership with HR and hiring managers
  • Assist with vendor contract reviews for financial accuracy and budget alignment
