Requirements

  • Strong Financial Modeling & Forecasting Skills: Need someone who can jump right in with pre-acquisition underwriting models and post-close forecasting across 25+ partner acquisitions, ensuring forward-looking plans that actually drive operational improvements.
  • Experience in Financial Diligence or Investment Banking: Ideal candidates bring 2-5 years in financial diligence or early-stage investment banking, providing the rigor and pace needed to handle complex acquisition financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to Build FP&A Infrastructure & Leverage Tools: The team is scaling FP&A capabilities, including rolling out and optimizing Planful for forecasting automation—so they want someone comfortable building processes and working with new financial systems to support rapid acquisition growth.

Responsibilities

  • Financial modeling and analysis: Build and maintain detailed underwriting and post-acquisition financial models to support acquisition decisions and ongoing portfolio performance tracking.
  • Forecasting and variance analysis: Lead forward-looking forecasting efforts, including budget vs actual analysis and re-forecasting to identify opportunities to exceed financial targets.
  • Collaboration with BD and operations: Partner closely with Business Development and regional presidents to align acquisition assumptions, track KPIs, and uncover operational improvement opportunities across portfolio companies.
  • FP&A infrastructure development: Drive implementation and optimization of financial planning tools like Planful to automate forecasting and reporting for a growing portfolio of 25+ companies.
  • Cash flow and performance monitoring: Oversee weekly cash forecasting roll-forwards and monitor portfolio company financials post-close to ensure alignment with underwriting and strategic objectives.
