This position is a unique opportunity for a strategic, mission-driven leader passionate about managing, building, and optimizing operational systems that support the growth of the Autodesk Foundation. The ideal candidate will foster an inclusive and collaborative environment while overseeing essential responsibilities for the Foundation's success, including managing cross-functional projects, strategic planning, board engagement, comprehensive reporting, and budget oversight.

  • Collaborate with Foundation leadership and functional leads to develop the Foundation's strategy from conceptualization to execution.
  • Analyze trends and data to inform strategic decisions and ensure the Foundation's initiatives remain relevant and impactful.
  • Support strategic interlocks and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) that foster shared accountability and drive the Foundation's work forward.
  • Oversee the Foundation's reporting requirements for various stakeholders, tracking progress against strategic goals and operational benchmarks.
  • Prepare regular reports for the Impact Leadership team and the Board, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Manage the collection and analysis of operational data to enhance decision-making and transparency.
  • Act as a liaison to the board, supporting committee management and board-level initiatives.
  • Prepare board materials, including agendas, reports, and presentations, and ensure follow-up on action items.
  • Assist with board orientation and ongoing development to ensure board members are equipped with the knowledge and tools to guide the Foundation's growth.
  • Ensure the effective management and filing of official board materials and records.
  • Work closely with the finance team and budget owners across the Foundation to develop and manage the Foundation's annual budget.
  • Provide insights into financial performance and recommend adjustments to optimize resources.
  • Refine processes and support the team in meeting budget forecasts and deadlines.
  • Lead and manage high-priority cross-team projects, ensuring timely execution and high standards of excellence.
  • Collaborate with different teams to streamline processes and improve cross-functional communication.
  • Identify potential challenges and proactively develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Manage and support two direct reports—the Foundation Administrative Lead and Data Analyst.
  • Lead culture-building initiatives to foster inclusivity, teamwork, and engagement.
  • A Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field; a Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in nonprofit operations, strategic planning, or a Chief of Staff role, ideally within a mission-driven or non-profit organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Mac and Windows operating systems and business applications such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities, with a proactive, self-starter mindset.
  • Deep understanding of nonprofit governance and board engagement best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Financial acumen, including proficiency in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and create actionable insights.
