About The Position

The Senior Foundation Officer will coordinate event logistics for signature special events across Central Texas and serve as the point of contact for third-party fundraisers, all in celebration and engagement of our donors, sponsors and wider communities. This role reports to the Director, Central Advancement Services and involves close collaboration with internal fundraising and marketing teams, board members, volunteers and partners to create impactful experiences that foster connections and advance the mission of Baylor Scott & White Central Texas Foundation. This position works alongside the fundraising teams and is a multifaceted role that requires significant teamwork, attention to detail, seamless event execution, and thoughtful strategic planning for budgeting, marketing, vendor management and evaluation.

Requirements

  • Proven project manager with strong interpersonal skills, maturity, good judgement and ability to collaborate with others to gain alignment.
  • Experience producing high-level events, managing relationships and communicating with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Apply creativity, grit and resourcefulness to projects.
  • Possess outstanding customer service skills and high expectations for quality.
  • Comfortable working within a demanding and complex corporate environment with access to highly confidential and proprietary information.
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain flexible as priorities change.
  • EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
  • EXPERIENCE - 5 Years of Experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with donor database, Raiser's Edge NXT, a plus.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office 365 Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint; experience working with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Signature Special Event Logistics
  • Oversee coordination of all logistics, design and execution of impactful and engaging special events including, but not limited to, Boots & Bandanas (Temple), Wine and Dine Around the Bay (Marble Falls), Hearts in Bloom (Waco) and Healthcare for Heroes (Round Rock).
  • Serve as secondary support for Diamonds and Denim (College Station) and Valentine Ball (Brenham) and other regional events as needed.
  • Work with fundraising teams to convene and support event committees, effectively communicating action items, statuses and potential issues/risks appropriately throughout the course of event planning.
  • Manage sponsor and patron benefits to ensure meaningful recognition, engagement and impact.
  • Provide detailed, timely and accurate data entry of relevant information in fundraising and event management software, including Raiser's Edge and Murad Auctions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to create event collateral and drive post-event stewardship strategy and execution.
  • Effectively manage event budgets to ensure ROI and conduct post-event evaluations to gather insights to refine future event strategies and improve processes.
  • Third-Party Fundraisers
  • Responsible for managing third-party event requests, including agreements, support, documentation, stewardship and recognition.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with third-party partners.
  • Collaborate with partners to align event messaging and branding.
  • Track program success, benchmark year-over-year data and lead strategy on retention and acquisition of third-party events.
