About The Position

Senior Food Service Attendant at Providence Portland Medical Center- Full-Time, Day Schedule. General summary for all Food and Nutrition Service Roles: All Food Service staff must provide a high level of customer service for patients, family members, volunteers, physicians and staff. The Service Excellence Standards of Behavior guidelines must be adhered to at all times. Must have comprehensive knowledge of, and be compliant with, specified regulatory requirements, and food safety and sanitation regulations for food service in a health care environment. Proper sanitation procedures and practices must be following to assure the cleanliness and sanitation of ware-washing, service-ware, equipment in the work area. Requirements

• National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire.
• Experience in working in a team environment with common goals.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience in customer service, patient interactions, and food service.
• Experience in Healthcare or Dietary kitchen using therapeutic diets.
• 6 months experience working on assembly line and delivering patient meal trays.
