About The Position

The Senior Food Security and Economic Mobility Consultant at ICF is a part-time, remote role focused on improving food security and economic mobility for at-risk populations. The consultant will provide expert guidance on public human services programs, particularly those related to food assistance, and will lead research and evaluation projects in this domain. This position requires a strong background in human services policy and practice, with an emphasis on strategic consulting support for workforce development agencies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in human services, program evaluation, social work, liberal arts, or related discipline; PhD preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in food security or cash assistance research and/or program evaluation.
• Demonstrated experience with public human services regulations, policies, and procedures related to food and cash assistance programs.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex programs and projects.
• Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality, professional visualizations, presentations, reports, and other data products.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert subject matter expertise to projects supporting public human services programs that involve food security.

• Build a pipeline of opportunities that align with ICF's objectives to promote a robust human services infrastructure across targeted domains.
