Schweid & Sons is looking for a Food Scientist to add to our team. Reporting to the Director of Innovation, you will lead innovation and product development projects and initiatives, formulation, process improvement, ingredient, recipe and nutritional development, and provide food science strategy and guidance to take the company into the future. This role focuses on developing, improving, and ensuring the safety and quality of premium protein products, from fresh cuts to processed meats. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of meat science, food safety regulations, and product development processes within the beef and other protein industries.
