About The Position
The Senior Food Programs Manager is responsible for successful leadership and administrative management of food programs and staff with a focus on alleviating senior hunger through initiatives such as Meals on Wheels, Senior Grocery, and Kibble on Wheels. This role ensures the delivery of quality programs according to all relevant policies, guidelines, procedures, and contracts. The manager leads program development and evaluation, oversees recruitment, training, hiring, retention, and recognition of staff and volunteers, manages budget development and expense control, and ensures compliance with required program reporting. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to pitch in and help wherever needed, including filling in for meal and grocery delivery as necessary.
