Requirements

  • OR a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 3 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises daily Food and Beverage (F&B) shift operation and ensures compliance with all F&B policies, standards and procedures.
  • Manages day-to-day operations, monitors quality, and meets customer expectations.
  • Maintains the operating budget and verifies compliance with standards and legal obligations.
  • Assists in ordering F&B supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms.
  • Supports and supervises an effective monthly self-inspection program.
  • Supervises staffing levels to meet guest service and operational needs.
  • Encourages mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize and organize work.
  • Monitors and maintains employee productivity levels.
  • Communicates areas needing attention to staff and follows up to ensure understanding.
  • Coordinates cleaning programs in all F&B areas and identifies trends for improvements.
  • Creates a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, and teamwork.
  • Provides services that exceed customer satisfaction and retention expectations.
  • Implements proactive approaches to guest concerns and sets a positive example for guest relations.
  • Administers performance appraisal processes for direct report managers and conducts employee performance appraisals.
  • Identifies developmental needs of others and provides coaching and mentoring.
