About The Position

The Hilton at Short Hills is searching for a talented Senior Food and Beverage Manager to lead their team! This property is conveniently located close to the business hubs of Morristown and Parsippany and a short drive from I78. Our hotel features locally sourced food, an outdoor terrace and lounge, tennis courts, and indoor/outdoor pools. We're across the street from The Mall at Short Hills. Boasting 314 rooms, and 21,158 square feet of meeting space, this position will be leading a Food and Beverage team of 40+ team members, two supervisors and two banquet managers. The ideal candidate will be an energetic leader who enjoys being hands on, has a passion for implementing policies and procedures, and has 3+ years of Food and Beverage experience. Experience working with a workforce under a collective bargaining unit is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
  • Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
  • Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
  • Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
