The Group X Coach creates an inviting, inspiring and motivating group exercise experience through delivering pre-choreographed or freestyle group exercise programs to members and guests. This role involves coaching pre-choreographed or freestyle group sessions and classes to a wide variety of members at varying fitness levels, either in person or via virtual technology. The coach is expected to present classes in a welcoming, encouraging, and challenging manner, ensuring high quality and safety by educating members on safe techniques and guidelines. A key aspect is increasing member attendance through strong teaching skills and the ability to connect with and motivate others, maintaining an average of coaching at least 2 classes per week. Additionally, the role requires delivering exceptional customer service, handling member concerns, reporting equipment issues, recruiting new members, and ensuring classes start and finish on time. Administrative duties include finding substitutes for class coverage and maintaining a strong social media presence, as well as attending staff meetings on occasion as required.
